Education is the main component to promote a safe and successful work environment. Food employees must be knowledgeable in food defense to eliminate any possible injuries and foodborne illness incidents.
The ServSafe Food Manager Certification course is a fifteen hour class and exam required by Ohio Department of Health. All Food Service Operation managers are required to obtain this certification.
The ServSafe Food Handler Certification (i.e. Person In Charge) course is a three hour course required by the Ohio Department of Health for at least one kitchen employee per shift to obtain.
Both courses can be provided at your facility or a designated classroom location of your convenience.
